Woman's Mission Union encourages missional living by challenging, equipping, and empowering Alabama Baptists to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. There are classes for women each month focused on missions and missionaries.  WMU also is responsible for Mission Kids, RA/GA's and many other mission-based projects.  The WMU is a great way for you to get involved and learn about missions and how you can minister to others right where you are. 
Week of Prayer, Appalachian Back-Pack Ministries, Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong, WMU is involved in so many different ministries for missions in our community and all over the world.

Mission kids

Kids Mission Corner

Wednesday night children's activities start at 5:45pm with music and end with mission studies at 6:15pm-7:00pm.  In the mission corner, children learn about missionaries both at home and abroad.  We have activities relating to the area of study, play games, memorize Bible verses, learn about the Good News of the Gospel and talk about applying the Great Commission to our everyday lives.  You're invited to join us on Wednesday and become a kid on mission for Jesus.

A Missionary Kid came to visit and tell us about life in the mission field.
Mission Kids studied about Cowboy Church and they had their own rendition of Cowboy Church.
The Mission Kids had a special program for the WMU on the missionary, Lottie Moon.
