Central Baptist Church is committed to helping our community.  We are centrally located allowing us to help serve a larger area.  Currently we are serving in Argo, Springville, Odenville, Margaret and Trussville.  We even minister to the Veterans in Pell City.  Our goal is to spread the gospel to everyone we have contact with. CBC (Central Baptist Church) also host First Priority at Springville Schools and St. Clair County Schools.  The ministry is not limited to the CBC campus; we are to go out into the world and spread His word. CBC hosts football camps, softball camps, trunk or treat, Vacation Bible School, Freedom Celebrations, and much more.

CBC involvements

Vacation Bible School
Each year during the summer CBC has a Vacation Bible School that is in the evening.  It is typically Sunday - Thursday. Each year is there is a new adventure where we teach God's word.  This is for adults as well as children. There is a class for all age groups from 0-100.  We would love to have you.
Football and Softball Camps
During the summer there will be a camp for football and softball.  This is a free camp available for school age children.  The camp has coaches and current and past college players teaching the children skills of the game and how to play the sport while displaying a Christian attitude and outlook.
Community Events
CBC participates in different activities that our surrounding town hosts. The Argo and Springville Christmas parades, Argo's Fall Festival, Springville's Summer Bash and much more. CBC also hosts the Freedom Celebration with the best fireworks in town.  
"Our Daily Bread" Blessing Box
The Blessing Box has complete meals for those who are in need of help.  There are breakfast, lunch and dinner meals prepacked for you to cook. There are also hygiene products as well as books for children. This is located on the porch or the Educational Building of the church. 
First Priority
CBC hosts First Priority at Springville Elementary School as well as St. Clair County School.  This is an after-school meeting at the school. The students are taught about Jesus and how to become and to live a Christian life. 
Events for different seasons
CBC is constantly adding new events throughout the year to insure we are always actively involved and have something safe, fun and meaningful for adults, youth and children to be involved in.

We are to go out into the world, step outside of the church building and minister to our community.  Helping those who are in need, lending a hand, sharing the gospel and praying with others.  That is what we as a church are to do.  We are a Changing Church.... In a Changing Community....Preaching a Changeless Gospel.
